Solvent Recovery/VOC Abatement

Stricter government environmental legislation across the world has forced many companies to pay closer attention to monitoring and controlling their Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC)/Solvent Emissions. Air Products offers a full consultancy and engineering service to design and build Cryo-Condap VOC solvent recovery systems customized to meet individual company requirements and help achieve compliance with environmental solvent recovery regulations.

Watch a video of our webinar "Controlling VOC emissions with liquid nitrogen" to learn how you can achieve virtually 100% VOC/solvent recovery and control VOC emissions by using liquid nitrogen.

Condensation of solvents with liquid nitrogen can help enable you to meet emission targets, recover solvents, and reuse the nitrogen for inerting.

Cryo-Condap System for Solvent Condensation

The Cryo-Condap™ system uses liquid nitrogen to condense and freeze VOC vapors into particles. The particles are then stripped through gravity, adhesion to a cold condenser surface, and through a filtering system (called a de-mister). The process gas now conforms to environmental legislation and can be discharged into the atmosphere.
